REVIEW CALENDAR AND PRACTICE TIMES

Please review the start and end times for practices. Coach Sandy will often remind swimmers that 5 minutes early is ON time. For our 6pm practice start times, a reminder to wait tin the lobby until you are welcomed on to the pool deck as we wait for high school swimmers to finish practice. Punctuality at pick up time is appreciated by all of our coaches. Be sure to also note the dates where practice has already been canceled due to pool conflicts.

EQUIPMENT REMINDER

All swimmers will need to bring their equipment to the pool for every practice. Please refer to the equipment list here if you have not yet assembled your swimmer’s gear. Swimmers should have their equipment by next week.

All swimmers should have a water bottle at EVERY practice. Any borrowed equipment should be put away after practice is finished.Remind swimmers that we share the pool space and we are collectively responsible for its care.

DRYLAND REMINDERS

Dryland begins today for our Gold and Senior groups. Be sure to dress appropriately for inside and outside workouts. This includes having tennis shoes on and access to a water bottle. Trainers from Harbor Athletic Club will be facilitating our Wednesday dryland workouts AT the Waunakee pool. Swimmers should grab a mat and a med ball beforehand and be ready to go by 6:15 on the pool deck.

ANNUAL MEETING

We invite ALL families to join the Wave Board for our (VIRTUAL) annual meeting on Wednesday, September 18th from 8-9:30pm. This is an opportunity to hear about the club’s vision and current financial health. The Board aims to have full transparency with our membership and this is a great chance for you to better understand the back end of our Wave operations. A link to attend will be available and shared soon.
