MEET DECLARATION REMINDERS:
Wave Fall Classic 11/16 | DECLARE BY 11/4
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! NO PRACTICE 10/31! | HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST
Swimmers, strike a pose for our annual Halloween Costume Contest! With no practice on Halloween, parents, please take a picture of your costumed swimmer and send it to coaches ([email protected]), and include the swimmer’s name and group in the subject line! All submissions should be submitted by the end of day Saturday, November 2nd. Coaches will choose a winner from each practice group and announce it at practice the following week. There are prizes!
VAST TRICK-OR-TREAT MEET RECAP
Holy cow was it a great meet this past weekend! Coaches were THRILLED to see some new swimmers swimming in a meet for the first time and others applying feedback from practices to achieve best times and some state cuts!

REMINDERS
WINTER SESSION REGISTRATION
- REMINDER: Winter registration opened 10/22 for returning families; group assignments and practice schedule were posted 10/15! New families with a group assignment will be able to register starting 11/5. Winter session begins 11/18!
- Due to TeamUnify limitations, ACH is not a payment option during registration…and we have a workaround! Accounts with current, active ACH payment methods may select the check payment option to trigger a manual ACH charge by the Treasurer (this is just a flag, and checks are NOT actually accepted for payment!)--only current ACH payors are extended this option.
- High school athletes: if your fall HS season ends prior to the start of Wave's winter session, you are welcome to join us for the remaining fall session! Please contact the Wave Admin for prorated registration details!

WAVE FALL CLASSIC | HOSTED MEET NOVEMBER 16
- Volunteer signup is live! We need all hands on deck for a successful meet, and thank you in advance for volunteering! A friendly reminder: all registered families with swimmers in performance groups are required to provide at least one volunteer shift per day at each hosted meet. See the Volunteering page or Handbook for more information.
- Becoming an Official is another great way to fulfill the volunteer obligation in addition to supporting your swimmer and the club!
- SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Do you have a business to brag about AND want to support Wave? We are seeking local sponsors for our club! All sponsors receive logo displays on our website and at our hosted meets with special shoutouts from the announcer during hosted meets! Contact the Wave Admin for more information.
ADULT HOLIDAY PARTY
Save the date of Friday, 12/6 for the Wave Adult Holiday Party–prepare to jingle and mingle at Waun-A-Bowl (non-bowling fun will be had)! More details coming soon!
ATTENDANCE REMINDER
Please use the Google Form, one form per swimmer, to indicate both a missed practice and to declare attendance for that week’s make-up practice (make-up practices available to Ripples, Breakers, Purple, Bronze, and Silver groups).

You can subscribe to your swimmer’s practice calendar and add it to your personal calendar (such as Google Calendar)! When logged in to TeamUnify, navigate to Calendar (under Events & Times) and click on Practices tab. From the practices dropdown, select the desired roster group(s) then click Subscribe. Copy the link and follow instructions for adding calendars to your personal calendar (ex: in Google Calendar, click on Other Calendars +, From URL, then paste link and update settings and preferences as desired)!
