ThanksGIVING RAFFLE WINNER

WINTER SESSION THEME: MOTIVATE!
Our fall session theme was BELIEVE, and swimmers embodied that theme by setting and already achieving many goals! The winter session theme is MOTIVATE! The holidays and middle months of a longer season can prove challenging to stay motivated–the effort we give now will deliver stronger and more resilient athletes!

DOUBLE MEET RECAPS
Wave traveled to two meets last weekend, and swimmers really gave their all! In Waukesha, several swimmers qualified for Saturday night finals! In McFarland, swimmers absolutely went crazy and swam so well! Coaches are very proud of our team–it is obvious everyone was motivated to do their best!

USA SWIMMING MEMBERSHIPS
Performance Groups - Returning Swimmers With a USAS Membership
USA Swimming memberships were renewed by the club for swimmers who are registered for winter and were not registered for fall (fees have been posted to accounts).
Performance Groups - New or Returning Swimmers Without a USAS Membership
Swimmers in a Performance Group who have never had a USA Swimming membership must register via this Wave-unique link. Annual renewals will be managed by the club.
Development Groups - New or Returning Swimmers
Swimmers in a Development Group (Ripples, Breakers, WTF) are not required to hold a current USA Swimming membership unless they participate in meets. Expired memberships will be renewed by the club only if the swimmer declares for a meet (fees will be applied to member’s account). Swimmers who have never held a USA Swimming membership and declare for a meet must create their membership via this Wave-unique link. If not signed up with USA Swimming before the declared meet, swimmers will be scratched from the meet, and entry fees remain the responsibility of the member.

If your swimmer joined us for winter, was not registered for the fall session, and has not yet received their team swim cap and T-shirt, please know Coach Sandy will distribute these items at practice!
ADULT HOLIDAY PARTY
Jingle and mingle with Wave parents and coaches on 12/6 at 6pm at Waun-A-Bowl! Cost is $20 per adult (charged to Wave accounts), which covers dinner and two drinks…the fun is priceless! Remember, the meet was moved to 12/8, so no worries to be out the door early the day after the party! A peek under the wrapping paper: we are not bowling, but expect similar fun to last year’s trivia night! We know how busy everyone is, so the RSVP date has been extended:

ATTENDANCE REMINDER
Please use the Google Form (one form per swimmer) to indicate a missed practice and declare attendance for that week’s make-up practice (make-up practices available to Ripples, Breakers, Purple, Bronze, and Silver groups).
