12/8 BAC MEET | NO PRACTICES 12/8 DUE TO MEET!
Meet info will be communicated once it is received from BAC!
SINGLE AGE STATE MEET
An email was sent 12/2 to current qualifiers regarding the Single Age State meet, and we hope to add more qualifiers this weekend! Coach Sandy will confirm via email to any new qualifiers following the 12/8 meet.
If your swimmer has already qualified, OR if your swimmer first qualifies at the BAC meet 12/8, please declare for the meet by SUNDAY, 12/8 AT 9:00pm! There are no exceptions to declare after this deadline. Congratulations to our qualifiers!
NEW SWIMMERS IN WINTER SESSION
We have a few new swimmers who joined Wave for the winter session–if you see someone you don't recognize, be sure to say hi!
LOCKER ROOM REMINDER
Please vacate the locker rooms within 10 minutes of the end of your practice time.
SECRET SANDY
It’s time for the highly anticipated annual event…SECRET SANDY! Every December, roster groups have a secret gift exchange as part of their holiday party. Each swimmer will fill out a questionnaire during an upcoming practice, and swimmers will draw names. The idea is to...shhh…keep it a secret!
WHO: all swimmers!
WHAT: Swimmers will draw a name, review the questionnaire of the name drawn, then purchase or make a gift for their secret person totaling no more than $10.
WHERE: WHS Commons in the Cave. Enter through the front doors (by the books display) and go down stairs to the Commons. NOTE: Purple will take place in pool lobby.
WHEN:
RIPPLES & BREAKERS: 12/16 6:00-7:00pm
SILVER: 12/16 7:15-8:30pm
PURPLE: 12/17 6:15-7:15pm IN POOL LOBBY!
BRONZE: 12/18 6:00-7:15pm
GOLD, WTF, and SENIORS: 12/18 7:15-8:30(ish)pm | dryland will take place as usual 6:15-7pm for Gold and Seniors
NOTE: parties are in lieu of regular practices that evening (exception is Gold & Sr still have dryland as noted)
If the gift exchange poses a financial challenge, or if you do not wish your swimmer to participate, please email Coach Sandy! Ideally all swimmers will have a gift to open at the party, so if your swimmer will not be in attendance, please drop off the gift to a coach PRIOR to the designated party time (participating swimmers not in attendance will receive their gift at a separate time).

Cheer on fellow Wave swimmers at their high school meet, and stay for poster signing and refreshments in the Cave after the meet! See flyer for details!

Reminder of upcoming no practice dates (due to meets, HS Boys Swim, and holidays): 12/8, 12/10, 12/14, 12/19, 12/21, 12/24-12/25, 12/31, 1/1
With no practices 12/19 and 12/21, practice will instead take place FRIDAY, 12/20 as follows:
PURPLE, BRONZE: 6-7pm
SILVER: 7-8:30pm
GOLD, SENIOR B, SENIOR A: 7-8:45pm

ATTENDANCE REMINDER
Please use the Google Form (one form per swimmer) to indicate a missed practice and declare attendance for that week’s make-up practice (make-up practices available to Ripples, Breakers, Purple, Bronze, and Silver groups).
