NO PRACTICE - SATURDAY JUNE 21ST
Reminder, no practice this Saturday, June 21st due to the McFarland meet. There is still regular AM practice Friday, June 20th as well as dry land at Fortify.
SENIOR RETREAT - JUNE 27TH
Get ready for a day of fun, fitness, and team bonding! SENIOR A/B groups will be participating in a team outing at the UW Soderholm Family Aquatic Center, part of the NICK next to the Kohl Center. Senior groups will NOT attend Friday morning swim practice. Senior swimmers should still attend the dry land practice at Fortify from 10:15-11:00am. Please organize transportation from Dry Land to the UW Aquatic Center immediately following dry land. We plan to be in the pool by noon. Parents are to pick up swimmers at 3:30pm at the Memorial Union.
We’re kicking things off with a 1.5 hour workout at UW’s 25Y pool. The swim will be followed by a group lunch at BW3 and finish off with a scavenger hunt adventure around campus! This outing is all about building community, strengthening camaraderie and making memories together—both in and out of the water. Let’s have some fun and celebrate what makes Wave so special!
Please be sure to follow up with Coach Sandy about attending this great event.
Bring your swimgear and a change of clothes afterward!
Time/Location/Details
11:00am End of Dry land. We ask you to depart from Fortify gym and travel directly to the UW Pool. Be ready to be IN the water by noon.
12:00-1:30pm UW Recreation Center 797 W Dayton Street.
1:45-2:45pm Buffalo Wild Wings 789 University Ave Sit down food. Menu here for planning
2:45-3:30pm Scavenger Hunt (Ends at Memorial Union)
3:30pm Swimmer Pickup - Memorial Union Terrace 800 Langdon Street. Pick up in front of Memorial Union on Langdon Street
ATTENDANCE FORM
Continue to use the attendance form (also located on the website) to keep coaches updated regarding absences. If your swimmer will be late to practice, please contact Coach Sandy for guidance.

The DeForest Summer Solstice Meet is June 28th. Meet information is on the website events here. We will continue to update this information as final meet information as it becomes available!
BIRD BATH MEET - JULY 11TH - 13TH
The Bird Bath Meet (in Appleton) on July 11-13 is coming up very soon! Meet information is located here. Hotel Room Block information is located here. (Note: we will not be having a “team hotel” at this meet)
UPCOMING MEET DEADLINES
ISCA SUMMER ELITE SHOWCASE (ST. PETERSBURG, FL)
We are so excited for this meet to return to the Wave schedule this summer! This unique travel meet is held August 6-9, 2025 in St. Pete, FL. If your swimmer already has a qualifying time or is close to those cuts, please consider joining our team at this great meet! Please review this meet information and FAQ document, which should answer many of your questions. Please reach out to our Admin with any additional questions you may have.
To assist us in planning, please declare for the meet by June 30th within the event. Changes to your declaration can then be updated, if needed, up until Wednesday, July 16th at which point final entries will be submitted.

DRYLAND @ FORTIFY FITNESS
Applicable only for swimmers in Gold, Senior A, & Senior B Groups.
Gold and Senior swimmers are in Week 2 of dry land at Fortify and Harbor. Please make sure you are properly dressed for dry land, along with having proper equipment (water bottles).
