CENTRAL ZONES CHAMPIONSHIP AND ISCA MEET RECAP
Wave was all over the country this past week!
We had two Zone qualifying swimmers in Holland, MI to compete at the Central Zones Championship Meet, where they competed as Team Wisconsin members! Peter Boldt and Rohan Vaishnav each swam three events, and competed among some of the best swimmers from throughout the Midwest. What a great experience and tremendous accomplishment for these swimmers, make sure to give them both a high five when you see them next! Way to represent Wave!
Down in St. Petersburg, Florida Wave swimmers enjoyed some sun, fun, great swimming, and a few thunderstorms! With many best times, multiple finals qualifications, and top 10 finishes from Gianna Caruso, Liam Hoppe, and Liam Rutkowski. They each came home with medals around their necks! The team spirit and camaraderie among families & swimmers was so great, what a great time! We cannot wait to return to this meet next summer, start making plans to join us now!
Way to go Wave swimmers, your coaches are extremely proud of you!
NEW NEWS
FALL SOCIAL EVENT - VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
With our fall session nearing, we are currently planning our Fall Social event to kickoff our new season together! While we are still finalizing a date and location for the event (likely a Sunday or Friday evening in September), we would love to have 2-4 parent volunteers to assist the Board in planning & executing this event for our swimmers and their families! Bring your energy and ideas to help make this event one to remember. If you are interested in assisting, please email our Board VP at [email protected].
WAVE IS HIRING!
Wave is actively recruiting to add several assistant coaches to our fall coaching staff! If you know of swim coaches in the area who would be a good fit for our team, please consider referring them to Head Coach Sandy at [email protected] who would be eager to connect with them and discuss the opportunity.

REMINDERS
FALL REGISTRATION - NOW OPEN TO ALL SWIMMERS
Fall registration opened to new families this morning, and as of this writing, we’ve already added over 20 new swimmers to the team for the fall with additional registrations still likely and another 15 evaluations scheduled for later this month. So excited to welcome these swimmers & families to our Wave community!
For returning families who have not yet taken the time to register for Fall, we do highly recommend you do so soon, as we do anticipate several training groups to fill very soon (Ripples, Purple, and Bronze, in particular).
