FALL SESSION PREP
We’re excited to have you back in the pool in just over a week! Practices for all swimmers start on Saturday September 6th, see full practice schedule.
To ensure successful practices for our swimmers, please review the equipment list (especially new swimmers or swimmers moving into a new group, as the needed equipment is different by group) and secure necessary equipment for your applicable training group prior to the start of our season. Simply Swimming is a Wave partner and can assist you with securing the right equipment.
Returning swimmers, in particular, please confirm or update your swimmer’s t-shirt size within your SportsEngine account prior to Monday, September 1st, as the recorded size will be utilized for our Fall T-Shirt distribution.
With the start of a new season, now is also a great time for both new families and returning families to review our WAVE HANDBOOK located on the website under Member Resources. This document answers many FAQs, details key team policies & procedures, and defines common swim terminology.
Dryland training specifics for Gold & Senior training groups is not yet finalized, but we appreciate your patience. That said, these groups can expect dryland to occur on a Wed & Thu schedule in advance of their in-water practice, starting Wednesday September 10th.
NEW SWIMMER NIGHTS - SEPTEMBER 3RD & 4TH
New Swimmers will have their first practices on Wednesday September 3rd and Thursday September 4th, from 6:15-7:30PM each night. This is a great opportunity for our new swimmers to get acclimated to our facility, our coaches, and swim team basics before the full team comes together for practices. New swimmers should prioritize attendance these evenings! Swimmers should arrive at the pool 5-10 minutes before practice and be ready to swim, both evenings, with swimsuits, caps, googles, & towels.
During the first night, Wednesday September 3rd, we will also have a Parent Meeting for new families from 6:15-7:00PM, from the pool bleachers. Meet other new families, and hear from the Wave Board and team staff.

FALL KICKOFF SOCIAL EVENT - 9/19 5-7PM
Please save-the-date for our first social event of our new season together! All swimmers and their families are welcome! Social will be on Friday, September 19th from 5-7PM, at Westbridge Park in Waunakee (1040 Kopp Road). RSVP form and additional details to come in a future newsletter.

WAUNAKEE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SWIM TEAM FUNDRAISER
Come out to support many of our Wave swimmers, as they compete for the Waunakee High School Girls Swim Team this fall. Their team has a Noodles & Co. fundraiser coming up on September 3rd from 4-8pm at the Waunakee Noodles & Co location! Simply mention “the Girls Swim Team” when ordering In-Store or enter coupon code “GIVING25” when ordering online. 25% of qualifying orders goes directly to the HS Girls Swim Team.

FALL REGISTRATION - OPEN TO ALL SWIMMERS
Fall registration remains open to all swimmers! Several training groups are already full, with several others nearing capacity, so register now to secure your spot.
WAVE IS HIRING!
Wave Swim Team continues to recruit for assistant coaches, including a Senior Lead Coach!
