DO YOU KNOW?
The average person can swim about 2 miles per hour. However, speed varies depending on several factors including technique, fitness level and experience. We work on a lot of this at swim practice. In fact, some Wave swimmers are swimming up to 22 miles per hour in the pool. At least that’s what we’ve been told by a couple Bronze swimmers when they have fins on!
