PRACTICE UPDATES & REMINDERS

Reminder, there is still practice this Saturday and Sunday. Coach Sandy and Coach Jim will be at Single Age State and our other coaches will be leading the regular scheduled practice sessions.

NEW PRACTICE FOR SAS QUALIFIERS!! —> Due to practice at Lodi being cancelled, we will be offering a short practice for the Single Age State qualifiers on Friday, December 12th from 6:00-6:45pm if you are still in town!

SAS SWIMMERS TAKE TO THE POOL THIS WEEKEND!

Our Single Age State qualifiers will take to the pool this weekend in Racine for the State Championships. Several of our swimmers will be traveling and showing off their hard work this season. Congrats on qualifying and best of luck at state!

SECRET SANDY/GIFT “WRAPPING PARTY”

Senior, Gold and Wave Team Fitness will meet in the "Cave" on Thursday, December 11th from 6:00-8:00-ish pm. Those groups will have a quick practice afterwards wrapping ends.

Please bring the following:

Your donation gift to be wrapped

Non-perishable item(s) for the Food Pantry (optional)

Monetary donation for the American Family Children's Hospital (optional)

BAC HOLIDAY SPLASH MEET RECAP

Our Gold and Senior groups travelled to Sauk Prairie High School for a day of racing at the BAC Holiday Splash! The swimmers put up some really good racing strategies and even more exciting, the after meet dinner! Families visited the Original Culvers in Sauk City and made a great dip in that cold custard!

Swimmer of the Meet: Everyone knows any race can be difficult! Adeline Wendlandt swam the 200 Fly for the first time and did amazing!

BAC HOLIDAY SPLASH MEET RECAP

Wave also sent a large group of swimmers to brave the weather this past Sunday at the Watertown Polar Plunge swim meet. Coaches were so happy with how positive our swimmers were and how much our swimmers cheered for each other! Way to Go Wave!!

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: CLINIC WITH OLYMPIAN PHOEBE BACON!

We’re excited to share an incredible chance for Wave swimmers to learn from Team USA Olympian Phoebe Bacon at a local BREAKOUT Swim Clinic! Phoebe is one of the world’s top backstrokers and a UW standout known for her powerful technique and inspiring leadership.

This clinic includes stroke work, Q&A time, photos/autographs, and hands-on coaching—an amazing experience for swimmers of all ages. The Clinic is at Verona HS on Saturday, December 20th from 12:30-3:00PM.
