Members of The Fondy Swim Club will incur various charges at registration and throughout the course of each session (meet fees, team fees, etc.)  These charges can be broken down into the following categories and are explained in further detail below.

Billing Overview

Billing Statements

All monthly invoices will be prepared on the 25th of each month.  Please verify your invoice for accuracy,  informing us via email if there are any discrepancies before the 29th of that month (27th for the month of February).  

Credit Cards Required on Accounts

All members will be required to keep an active credit/debit card on their account which will be charged any account balance on the 10th of each month.  

Credit Card Processing Fees

Each credit/debit card transaction incurs a transaction fee of 2.95% + $0.30 per transaction.

Payment by Other Methods

If you do not want your credit/debit card charged, it will be necessary for you to turn in a payment that is received by the 5th of the month at the Aquatic Center drop box.    Any balance remaining on the account will then be charged to the card on file for your account.   

Delinquent Accounts

If your account becomes 30 days past due, your swimmer will not be allowed to participate in any meets until the balance on the account is paid in full.


If your account becomes 60 days past due, your swimmer will not be allowed to participate in practice until the balance on the account is paid in full.

USA Swimming/Wisconsin Swimming Registration

Each swimmer must be a registered athlete with USA Swimming and Wisconsin Swimming in order to participate in any team activities.  This is an annual per swimmer fee.  You will need to register through USA Swimming.

 

 

 

Session Dues 

Please remember that you are registering for a session, not month to month participation.  When registering, you will be asked if you wish to pay in full or by installments, however that is simply to offer a payment option, not a participation option.  Session fees are based on the following base amounts.  We do offer multi-swimmer discounts.



Bronze         $66 per month times the number of months in the session.
Silver           $75 per month times the number of months in the session.
Gold            $85 per month times the number of months in the session.

Family Dues

Beginning Fall 2021 each family will be assessed a $25 per session fee for the administrative costs associated with holding meets. Due to the shortage of USA Swimming officials, including within our team, we will need to pay for officials to work our meets.  This fee will be credited back to families who have a member filling a position that required a USA Swimming non-athlete registration, by a serving as a USA Swimming Official for FSC at our home meets or by serving as a trained timing system or computer operator at our home meets.

 

Meet Entry Fees

 Each meet incurs its own surcharges and individual event fees set by the LSC (Local Swimming Committee) and change according to the level of meet.  These fees will be posted on the meet information page when you accept/decline a meet.  Please note that while there is an invoice entry for relays, FSC does not charge our swimmers for their relays.  

 

Home Meet Work Requirement and Fines

I understand that our home meets are part of our fund-raising activities and I that it is a vital part of the operation of our swim club. I understand that by joining FSC, my family is obligated to work at each home meet.  A 1-day meet will require work during 1 session.  A 2-day meet will require work at 2 sessions.  A 3-day meet will require work at 3 sessions.  I also understand that this shift requirement varies based on the number of families that are members of the club

 

  • Meet positions are posted in advance and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • I understand that the information regarding these meets comes via email and is also posted on the team website and it is my responsibility to keep myself informed regarding job posting and hours.
  • I will find my own replacement for any of the required hours I am unable to work. 
  • I understand that if I fail to work my shifts or find someone to work the shifts on my behalf that I will be charged $50 per shift.
