US Open - No Way!!!!

The Marlins have come a long way in the 5+ years since their inception!  However, having someone qualify for the US Open (The highest level meet of the Summer) seemed impossible until the Medal Mania Meet.  Jennifer Domanowski had been frustrated having just missed the Jr. National qualifying time of 2:19.69 in the 200 meter fly with a 2:19.95.  She hoped to get the time at the Medal Mania Meet but had no designs on the US Open Time.  She swam an incredible 2:16.78 which bettered the US Open standard of 2:16.89.  To give you an idea of how fast the time is - The Olympic trials standard for 2008 was 2:16.69.  Yes Olympic Trials.  Thanks to all the support and work of this team our swimmers are achieving levels of success that are incredible!  Way to go Mighty Marlins!!  P.S. Thats her in the Cowboy Hat!
