Koetje Family Dominates Clear Lake Triathlon!

 Kara Koetje won the 15-19 year old age group for the 4th time at this years Clear Lake Triathlon on July 18th. Kara's toughest competition was fellow Marlin Amy Renslo who came in 2nd in the same age group.  Kara's mom,Tracy Koetje,was a force to reckon with taking 3rd in her age group. Tracy ited her months of intense training as the key to her success!  Nathan Schaffer finished 4th for the 15-19 boys and Amanda Collins was 6th for the girls. Audrey Blomberg also competed as a soloist taking 14th.  Three teams competed.  Team Schaufler: Karoline, Kirby, and Klayton took 3rd, Team LeValley "A" (Jewel, Randy, and Trevor)was 5th and team LeValley "B" (Aaron, Bryton, and Deb) was 7th. 

In the youth Triathlon Jacob Blomberg was 2nd for the boys Burch Walker 10th, Josh Thill 23rd, and Keiran Stevens 26th. For the girls Erin Delaney was 9th, Maggie Delaney 19th, and Mel Lofton 28th.
