Swimmers in a Strange Land!

This weekend exemplified how far reaching the Mighty Marlins are in the world of swimming.  Oliver Durand swimming for the MP High School Team won a district title in the 200 free and looks to win one at state next weekend.  Also 13 other current or past Marlins played a role in the 2nd place district finish and also figure prominantly in the MP plans to do well at state. They include: Andrew Winquist, Drew Preston, Spencer Girard, Robbie Haynes, Brandon Caldwell, Jason Pusateri, Colin Willis, Jesse Quinn, Josh Estella, Riley Drabb, Mario Reichlin, Jacob Blomberg, Connor Hemming.  Not to mention several other Marlins swimming with other High School Teams this weekend.

On a grander scale, Kara Koetje is competing for the Willamette Bearcats in the Northwest Conference College Championship at Federal Way this weekend and was a finalist in the 100 butterfly!

Trevor LeValley heads to Oklahoma City from Wyoming to represent the Cowboys in their conference championship in a couple of weeks!

Marlins are everywhere and we are very proud!
