Marlins show great strength at WEST Coast Invitational!

In a key tune up meet prior to PNS Champs the Mighty Marlins showed they are on track for a superb showing at the champs in late July.  "We have been working hard for 10 months and the work payed off as Marlin swimmers excelled at sprints and distance races at the West Coast invitaional." Noted coach Schaufler!  In the fine design challenge where swimmers swim the 50 meter sprint of the stroke of their choice 6 Marlins made the top-8 final on Sunday and 2 earned shirts for finishing an the top 3; Hannah Peseau 3rd in the 50 back, and Morgan Ginnis 2nd in the 50 free.  The other finalist were: Jennifer Domanowski 8th 50 fly, Oliver Durand 8th 50 back, Spencer Girard 7th 50 breast, Hannah Taylor 7th 50 breast.

Christina Domanowski was the high point winner for 11-12 year olds earning a plaque, and Karoline Schaufler had time drops in all 8 of her events ranging from 1 to 8 seconds totalling 38.25 seconds!
