Marlins 7th at Washington State Champs!
The Mighty Marlins took 7th at the Washington State Champs in Federal Way! Led by our strong group of girls we scored over 400 points to easily outscore the 8th place team!
Jennifer Domanowski and Hannah Taylor led the way with strong finishes in all 6th of their events. Jennifer won the 200 fly in a stunning time of 2:01.39, and also scored a 4th in the 100 fly, 6th in the 400 IM, she also scored top 16 finishes in 3 other events. Hannah took 3rd in the 200 and 400 IM and was 4th in the 200 breast and 6th in the 50. She also had 2 other top 16 finishes. Morgan Ginnis also had 3 top 8 finishes with a 5th in the 100 free, 7th in the 50, and 8th in the 50 back. She also had top16 in 2 other events.
Other Marlins with top 16 finishes scoring points for the Marlins included: Cameron Chaplik, Spencer Girard, Jewel LeValley, Trevor LeValley, Justin Murrell and Klayton Schaufler.
Marlins that swam well and contributed points in relays included: Melody Coleman, Christina Domanowski, Robbie Haynes, Kyle Libra, Hannah Peseau, Drew Preston, Karoline Schaufler, Alisa Stang, Colin Willis, and Andrew Winquist.
