Pusateri's Mission to Africa

The Pusateri’s (Rick, Debbie, Jason, Jonathan, Rebekah, and Luke) are going to Nairobi, Kenya as a part of a 20 member team to work in children’s orphanages for a nonprofit organization called Christian Ministries in Africa (CMIA).

As a part of this effort, they are taking much needed supplies along on their trip, with a goal of filling 40 suitcases, loaded up to 50lbs each! CMIA has found that this is the most effective way to get the supplies directly to the children.

If you would like to partner with them in support of this work, below is a list of the top items they are collecting:

Pencils

  • Pink Pearl Erasers
  • Pencil Sharpeners
  • Socks and underwear......boys and girls all sizes, and men's and women's small and mediums (modest, men’s briefs not boxers)
  • Balls......volleyballs, soccer balls and playground balls (no American football or baseballs)
  • Backpacks – gently used are fine, just make sure all zippers work.
  • Children’s shoes (solid black are what the children wear to school, play shoes can be just about anything!)
  • Bandanas, hats, stocking caps

Twin Sheets (gently used is great, doesn't necessarily need to be sets)

All donations are tax deductable. A tax ID number and receipt can be supplied to you upon request.

Supplies can be dropped off at the swim table through January 13th

They look forward to sharing with you pictures and the impact your donations will have on the orphan children when they return. . For more information about CMIA, you can go to: CMIA Link.
