Marlins Rocket to 11th at AG PNS Champs!

Marlin Swimmers dropped tons of time to finish as some of the fastest swimmers in the country at their current age!  Bindi Pedersen swam the 3rd fastest time in the country for 11 year olds in the 200 breaststroke on way to a 3rd place finish in the 11-12 age group.  She also medaled in 4 other events and was in the top 10 in the country in 3 of them.  Christina Domanowski was also one of the countries top 10 in the 200 fly and 200 free. She managed to take top 8 honors in all 6 of her events.  Also earning medals were Abby Magee in the 200 fly, 200 & 400 IM, 500 free, and 100 fly, Leah Taylor in the 50 back, 50 breast, and 100 & 200 IM, and Maggie Delaney in the 500 free!  Top 16 finishers earning a trip to the finals included Karlie Rimat in the 200 IM and 200 fly, and Jeffrey Lozensky in the 1650 freestyle.  Jeffrey's time was a national top 200 time! Swimmers with super swims and individual best times included: Toria Benson, Elle Lee, Mel Lofton, Sarp Orgul, Madi Rossnagle, and Raymon Tutewohl.

All the relays also swam exceptionally well with all 8 placing in the top 16.  The highest placing came from the 11-12 400 medley relay of Piper Lee, Bindi, Abby, and Karlie which took 8th!  The 13-14 relay of Christina, Elle and Kara, Madi and Rebekah Pusateri in differing combinations placed in the top 16 in all 4 of their relays.

A big highlight was receiving medals for a top 3 finish from Olympic Swimmer Nathan Adrian!

The number of time drops was phenominal for the Marlins this weekend!
