Marlins Strong at LC Kickoff!

Even though many events had well over 100 swimmers, and medals were only awarded for top 3 and ribbons top 8, the Mighty Marlins still came home with a heavy bag full of awards!

Bindi Pedersen led the way with 8 first place medals winning all of her events.  Melody Coleman also had a victory in the 400 IM and earned 2nds in the 200 breast and  200 IM.  Abby Magee was the only other Marlin with a victory winning the 200 fly, she was also 2nd in the 200 IM and 3rd in the 100 fly.  Karlie Rimat didn't win an event but she brought home 6 medals with a 2nd in the 200 fly and 3rd in 5 other events.  Emily Jacobson and Erik Anderson each earned a 3rd, Erik in the 200 breast and Emily in the 200 fly.

Marlins earning ribbons for top 8 finishes included: Chris Anderson-7th 400 IM / 8th 200 fly.  Maggie Delaney-6th 400 free / 7th 400 IM.  Katie Hammer 8th 200 fly.  Rachel Hartmeyer-6th 400 free and 200 back.  Leah Taylor-8th 100 breast.

Caitlyn Anderson, Madie Elsner, Nathaniel Goldor, MadieJacobson, and Skyler Walker also did very well and scored best times!
