Marlins Strong at Summer Splash!

On Sunday at the Summer Splash Long Course Meet a coach from a nearby club asked me how we train for the 400 free since our Marlins did so well on Saturday in that event.  One thing I told him was that the way our swimmers attack each and every set in practice makes the 400 free a simple sprint.  In the 400 free 2 Marlins were winners Bindi Pedersen for the 11-12 year old girls and Erik Anderson for the boys.  We also had Abby Magee and Karlie Rimat in the top 10, for 13 & over girls even though they were competing against much older swimmers.

Other Marins excelled with best times at the meet including: Chris Anderson, Maggie Delaney, Tanner Desjardins, Madie Elsner, Nathaniel Goldor, Rachel Hartmeyer, Jeffrey Lozensky, Kevin Sandquist, Abby Spencer, and Skyler Walker.
