Melody and Bindi Reach the Podium at Wash. St. Champs!

The championship meet for senior swimmers in Federal Way, The Washington State Championships, boasted very strong competition.  Melody Coleman led the way with an impressive 2:23.95 for 7th in the 200 breaststroke.  She also finaled in the 400 IM and 100 breaststroke.  Bini Pedersen had the only other top 8 finish with a 7th in the 200 IM.  She also finaled in the 50 free, fly and breast, and the 200 fly and breast.  Abby Magee also had 3 finals in the 50 fly, 400 IM and 500 free.  Karlie Rimat broke the Marlins 13-14 record in the 1000 free with an impressive 10:50.93 for 13th place, and she finaled in the 50 back!  Jeffrey Lozensky also scored for the Marlins with a 14th in the 1650 freestyle.  Chris Anderson, Josh Christos, Rachel Hartmeyer, Emily Jacobson, and Elle Lee also swam individual events for the Marlins!
