4 Marlins Hit Top 8 at Age Group Sectionals!

Karlie Rimat not only placed in the top 8 in all 6 of her events, she also had best times in all her events including bettering her prelims times in finals in each opportunity.  Karlie took 2nd in the 400 IM with a 6 second time drop.  She was 4th in the 200 IM and 200 free, and 6th in the 200 breast, 200 back, and 500 free.  Abby Magee had 3 top 8 finishes including a 5th in the 200 fly, 7th in the 1650 free, and 8th in the 200 IM.  Jetlynn Hau had 2 top 8 finishes with a 5th in the 100 breast and 6th in the 50.  leah Taylor also cracked the top 8 with 8th in both the 200 breast, and the 1650 free.  Rachel Hartmeyer and Emily Jacobson narrowly missed finals.  Rachel was 14th in the 200 back, and Emily was 14th in the 200 fly.  Maggie Delaney had top 16 finishes in 4 events: The 200 and 500 free, and the 200 fly and 400 IM.  Josh Christos, Gabby Marlatt, and Erik Anderson had strong individual swims as well.  Matt Owen, Chris Anderson, and Nathaniel Goldor were members of a strong 15 & Over boys relay.  Also Madie Elsner joined in with Karlie, Gabby, and Abby for very strong 13-14 girls relays.
