Divisional Champs = Huge Marlin Success!

The Mighty Marlins hosted a hugely successful Divisional Champs Meet at MP Pool.  It was all hands on deck, literally, as multitudes of Marlin parents helped their kids enjoy success by devoting their time and energy to the meet.  Two Marlins won the overall award for top score in the pentathlon for 10 & unders.  Sakura Gabor won all 5 of her events on the way to the award, and Andrew Gaydamachuk took 4 of 5.  Marlins with individual victories included Lucas Palmer with 6, Madelynn Butler, Lloyd Hau, and Philip Wold 2 each, and Nanako Kempma, Kale Stewart, and Anna Veazey 1 each!  At the awards ceremony Monday, Kirby got a sore arm handing out all the medals!  Marlins earning medals for top 6 finishes for 11 year olds and over were: Katelyn Darrah, Maggie Higgins, Katelyn Leary, Seth Little, Autumn Marlatt, Maraida Watkins, Evan Wold, and Caiden and Devyn Zurel.  Marlins with individual placing for ribbons, or best times included: Natalie Bennett, Emma Betancourt, Merian Bowers, Gweneth Canares, Katherine CarlsonNatalie Divita, Eve Funden, Alexa Gaydamachuk, Amelia George, Lily Harkins, Cal, Hallie, and Keelah Higgins, Angela Huang, Reagan Jenkins, Taylor Kenoyer, Kenzie Kinsey, Madilynn Kinsey, Cameron Leary, Laird Marlatt, Haley Marsh, Max Moore, Beau Pearson, Brie and Lincoln Thompson, Isaac and Liam Urie, Sarah Veazey, Ashton and Lily Washington, Kaitlin Wegers, Asher Wilson, and Milee Yanagida!  The real winner was the spirit of the Club!  The cheering for one another and overall joy of swimmers interacting at the meet was awesome!
