Best Times Abound at March Pentathlon!
Mighty Marlins Swimmers Improved despite limited practice time! I know people on our team are changing their schedules, and driving great distances, to swim as much as they can. Also, swimmers are utilizing lap swim near their homes. Congrats, on how hard you have been working to try to stay in swimming shape, and ready to compete!
At the meet at Hazen High School this weekend our Marlins totaled 38 best times. Leading the way was Anna Paul with 7 best times, Sarah Olson had 5, Ryan Christy and Anna Olson 4 each, and David Olson and Jacob Christy 3 each. Swimmers with 2 best times were: Henry Menzies, Jenna Muise, Riley Tallquist, and Sarah Zastoupil. Also, Alora Devera, and Aaron Ybarra each had 1 best time! In addition to the best times, Jacob Christy had 7 top 16 finishes, highlighted by a 3rd in the 400 IM. Riley Tallquist had 6 top 16 finishes, Sarah Zastoupil 2, and Ryan Christy and Jenna Muise 1 each!
