Ava and Anna Sparkle at Age Group PNS Champs!

Ava Thompson and Anna Paul represented the Mighty Marlins Swim Club at the 2024 Short Course Pacific Northwest Swimming Association (PNS) Championship in Federal Way, at the King County Aquatic Center, the weekend of December 13-15.

Ava led the way with 5 top 16 finishes. She was 6^th in the 200-free, 7^th in the 50 free, 8^th in the 500-free, 10^th in the 50-backstroke, and 14^th in the 100-backstroke.

Anna Paul swam the 100, 200, 500, and 1650 free, and the 200-breaststroke. That is a total of 2650 yards. Her best race was the 1650, where she came back very strong on the last 650 yards, for a clocking of 21:11.84, taking 28^th place!
