Many Mighty Marlins at 3A Washington State Champs!

Two Relays stuffed with Marlins competed at the Washington State 3A Championship Meet in Federal Way last weekend. Marysville Getchell swam both the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays. The team of Ryker Lichtenberg, Allen Pringle, Jacob Christy, and Cameron Leary took 18^th in the 200 Medley relay and 22^nd in the 200 Free relay. Allen also competed in the individual 100 Breaststroke, where he took 11^th while setting a new school record of 59.61.

Stanwood also swam the 200 Medley relay narrowly missing finals taking 17^th place. The team consisted of Marlins: Gavin Plano, Lloyd Hau, Lennon Bain, and Riley Tallquist.

Gavin also swam the 100 Butterfly placing 22^nd, and the 100 backstroke where he took 21^st. Lloyd did the 100 Breaststroke taking 20^th!

Rumor has it they all celebrated their success after the meet by enjoying a wonderful meal at Panda Express!
