Marlins Score Big at Pac-Coast Swim Meet!
The Mighty Marlins scored big at the Pac-Coast Meet held in Snohomish this weekend. According to the Swim Cloud Website scoring system, our boys were 1st at the meet and our girls were 4th. Leading the way for the boys was Jacob Christy with 2 victories and 5 other top 8 finishes. Layne Kopischka and Gavin Plano also had 7 top 8 finishes. Luke Mullen added 3 top 8 finishes, while Bolu Ojo, Ben Clark, and Riley Tallquist had 2 each, and Samuel Nelson and Asher Wilson each had 1. For the girls, Anna Paul had 6 top 8 finishes and, also had 2 victories. Ava Thompson tallied in the top 8 - 5 times, Kadie Whall and Katherine Carlson 4 each, Alora de Vera 3, and Kayli Costa, Sophie Plano, and Clara Davidson 1 each!
Nearly every Marlin had multiple best times for a total of over 100 best times. Zach Mullen was feeling the positive effects of lots of hard work, and swam best times in all 7 of his events. Rylee Whall had 6 best times and Sophia Whall had 5, and so did Aaron Ybarra. Owen Thompson tallied 3 best times, Caysen Jensen-Ozuna, Evie Azarpay, and Willa Jones had 2 each and Ryan Christy, and EmmaLee Stewart each had 1.
Hard work pays off with lots of best times!
