Mindset Monday was all about how to properly prepare for a swim meet. Starting the night before, and moving into the day of the meet. Following, are the 7 steps to be ready. After copying down these steps, swimmers were asked to unscramble the key 1st letters, to spell a word that sums it all up: PREPARE!

 

E-Eat a high carbohydrate, healthy dinner

R-Review your meet entries

P-Pack: Lunch, suit, water, goggles, cap, great attitude

R-Rest, get a good night’s sleep

P-Punctual: Be on time for warm up

A-Actually do warm up

E-Expect to be great!
