Marlins Swim Well at Fall Thunderbird!

The Mighty Marlins visited beautiful Anacortes to swim in the Fall Thunderbird Swim Meet this weekend. Sixteen different Marlins placed in the top 12 at the meet. Owen and Ava Thompson, and Jacob Christy led the way with 6 top 12 finishes. Four of Jacob’s, and 2 of Ava’s top 12 finishes were victories. Cameron Leary had 5 top 12 finishes. Skye Swanson, and Sophia and Rylee Whall each had 4 top 12 finishes with Rylee winning the 25 breaststroke. Willa Jones, Luke Mullen, and Hannie Wilson had 3 top 12 finishes, Bolu Ojo, and Aaron Ybarra 2 each, and Whitney Bianchi, Katherine Carlson, Brynn Weber, and Jules Wilson 1 each. Several Marlins also charted best times. Morgan Jenks, Elijah Vaca, and Zach Mullen had 4, Ryan Christy 3, Alex Williams 2, and Kadie Whall and Ava Wright 1 each!

Many best times were in the 500 free, which means our endurance is improving!
