USA Swimming Information
In order to participate in USA swimming there are two fees that must be paid upfront.
- YMCA USA Swimming Fee: $100
- This fee is to cover the extra cost of wages, travel, food, and lodge for the coaches. Anyone that participates in USA meets are required to pay. Registration is open online or you can register in person at the YMCA.
- USA Swimming Registration
- This fee is paid to USA Swimming. There are three types of memberships swimmers can have:
- Premium Membership $99 This is good until 12/31/2025. Anyone 13 and Older must have a premium membership.
- Flex Athlete: This membership is for 12 and Under Only and swimmers can only participate in two swim meets. In order to participate in championship swimmers will have to switch to a premium membership.
- Outreach Membership $9 – This is for those approved for free and reduced lunch and have financial hardship.

Each USA meet will have entry fees per swimmer and per event. These fees are paid by the swimmer not the YMCA. Since there is a fee per event swimmers will get to pick which events they will swim. If you have any questions or need input the coaches will provide feedback.
