) Welcome to HOT CHOCOLATE WEDNESDAYS!!!! Come Wednesday with non-breakable mug (metal, paper, etc)
HOT CHOCOLATE WEDNESDAYS START ON NOVEMBER 5
- During Pacific Standard Time (11/2/25 - 3/7/26) the team provides hot chocolate to the swimmers.
- The Team will provide the hot water & hot chocolate mix.
- The swimmers provide a non-breakable mug and spoon to reduce waste.
- We need parent volunteers (Sign Up HERE) to help fill the swimmers' non-breakable mugs with hot water and mix so the coaches can continue to coach and because we CANNOT allow younger swimmers to serve themselves hot water.
- Some parents will also bring additional treats (marshmallows, peppermint sticks, etc) but this is by no means required or needed.
- Thanks for helping us provide one of these highlight events for the swimmers.
2) Entries for Friday's PASA Distance Meet at Burgess and Saturday's PASA Candy Champs at Palo Alto HS are being worked on by the coaches and will close on Wednesday, November 5th!!!
3) First Order for Annual Registration PASA Gear for Age Group and Senior program will be ordered at the end of this week
ANNUAL REGISTRAION PASA APPAREL PACKAGES FOR AGE GROUP & SENIOR PROGRAM

For the 2025-26 season, the Annual Registration Fee for the Age Group (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and Senior Tracks (Pre-Senior, Senior 2) includes one additional PASA Apparel.
- Details will be sent out to the Age Group & Senior Tracks so you can specify which Package your swimmer would like to have
4) Burgess Pool Closed on Veteran's Day, Tuesday 11/11/25. Alternative Practice Schedule below in Practice Update section
5) DECEMBER TRAVEL MEETS
- MENLO PARK will be attending two different December Travel Meets over the weekend of December 4 - 7 to give the maximal opportunity to our swimmers to participate in this opportunity.
- Arizona Travel Meet (Tempe, AZ) - Open to all Age Group & Senior Swimmers who achieve a B time in 50s, BB times in 100s and the AZ time for 200s and above.
- Texas Travel Meet (Mansfield, TX) - Open to all Senior Swimmers who achieve an A time in any event.
- Details were sent out last week on these meets and additional information will be sent out later this week.
5) TIME CHANGE Suggestions for Swimmers
- With the new Time Change change it will be darker at our evening swim practices
- We recommend that all swimmers purchase and bring clear or lightly tinted goggles so they can see better while swimming
