Schenectady-Saratoga Sharks Meet Entry Procedures
For most meets on the Sharks schedule, swimmers will be automatically entered in the meets scheduled for their practice groups.
If, for some reason, your swimmer can not attend a meet on his/her schedule, you will need to Opt Out of that meet by the Opt Out date on that group's schedule.
Reminder: We are not able to recover meet fees for scratched athletes once entries are turned in. If you have questions, as always, speak to your coach or board member.
Once posted, you can find the Swim Meet Schedule on the Sharks website, or scroll to the bottom of the Sharks homepage. The swim meets will be posted under "Swim Meet" in the "Events" tab on the home page of the website.
To Opt-Out of a Meet:
- 1. Find the meet, and lick on the "Attend/Decline" button.
- 2. Click on the swimmer's name.
- 3. On the Declaration drop box - choose "No thanks, [swimmer's name] will NOT attend this event.
After the Opt-out date, all swimmers who have not Opted Out will be entered in their meet.
Unless instructed (a few of the meets will be Opt In) - you DO NOT have to declare "Yes" to be included in a meet on your swimmer's group schedule.
