Mission Statement:

Our Philosophy is to serve our community’s public health by providing a safe, enjoyable and complete swimming experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. STSC takes a long-term approach to swimming, starting with the fundamentals and building into a progressively challenging training program. We use the sport of swimming and its environment to teach young athletes goal setting, dedication, commitment, nutrition, exercise physiology, bio-mechanics, and a strong work ethic all while having fun and following Safe Sport practices. Strength training will remain a fundamental part of our progressive group model. Performance, although fun too, is not our primary objective. Our main goal will be to enhance the long term health outlooks of our community’s youth by teaching them how to take care of themselves; and how to set and pursue healthy goals and boundaries.
