Seward High School Pool Update - Your help is needed!
The Seward High School Pool has been funded by the KPBSD school district since it opened in 1978. It is essential for our beautiful coastal community!
The pool will be open until August 15. After that we do not know if it will remain open.
The good news is we can hold our summer swimming sessions and our 12th annual swim camp.

Nita has provided much of the following information:
There will be a school board finance committee meeting today at 1:00pm (Thursday, 6/26) that will likely decide the fate of our pool and Nita’s position as pool manager. This meeting is not open for debate. Just school board. No outside speeches.

Also you can listen to the meeting.

On July 7th the school board meeting is open to the public. You can sign up to talk for that meeting. Please sign up in advance.
Some people are trying to get a caravan of Seward people to attend in person. Most decisions will already be made at that point but we can always advocate.
If you have additional information - please post in the comments on BAND.
Thank you Tsunami Families for your support of our Seward Community Pool.
