What a great December we have had already, and yet we still have so much left on the agenda for the month!
WAG Meet Recap
This past weekend, over 50 Riptides competed (and dominated!) at the Winter Age Group Champs meet in Yucaipa. For many swimmers, it was their first time competing in prelims in the morning, and returning to swim again in the evening for finals. Almost all of our athletes qualified for finals by finishing in the top 20 of their events.
Extra special shout out to event winners Theodore Pham (15&over 200IM and 200 Free) and Chloe Tam (13/14 100 Breast, 50 Breast, 200 Breast)!! 🥇
Fun fact- when you are number 1 seed going into finals, you get to pick the song they play when you come to the blocks for your heat!
Sectionals Meet
This coming weekend, several of our senior level swimmers will be competing at Mt. San Antonio College for Speedo Winter Sectionals. Good luck to Tobey Chow, Arya Kiang, Alexandra Lew, Theodore Pham, Chloe Tam, and Aneira Tamppari! We will be rooting for you from the potluck on Saturday!
Holiday Potluck
When: Saturday, December 20th. 11:30-2pm
Where: Arcadia County Park, by the corner of Santa Anita Ave and Huntington

12/22 through 12/25- NO PRACTICE- ALL GROUPS
12/26, Friday- 6-8pm, all groups will practice at Arcadia HS. If you are Age Group dev or Stroke Dev, your practice will still be 1 hour, at your usual 6-7 or 7-8pm time.
12/27, Saturday- 7-9am, all groups will practice at Arcadia HS.
12/28, Sunday- Deadline to sign up for January Commerce meet
12/29 & 12/30- 6-8pm, all groups will practice at Arcadia HS. If you are Age Group dev or Stroke Dev, your practice will still be 1 hour, at your usual 6-7 or 7-8pm time.
12/31 & 1/1- NO PRACTICE- ALL GROUPS
