Practice Schedule Changes

We have quite a few changes to our practice schedule over the next couple of weeks.  A lot of these changes are made due to meets and coaching availability.  

  • Wednesday 12/3 – High School Meet at Jones Center – All Practices are cancelled.
  • Thursday 12/4 - Senior Hawgs will practice from 4:30-6:00 PM. There are no changes to other practice groups.
  • Friday 12/5 - Senior Hawgs morning practice canceled. Junior White, Junior Red, Junior Gray, and Rookie White practices are canceled.
  • Saturday 12/6 - Junior White will practice from 7:00-8:30 AM. Senior Hawgs will practice from 8:30-10:30 AM.  There are no other changes to the schedule on this day.
  • Monday 12/8 - Senior Hawgs morning practice canceled. Senior Prep and Junior Gray will not have practice.  There are no other changes to the schedule on this day.
  • Tuesday 12/9 - Varsity Hawgs will practice at the Jones Center from 6:00-7:30 PM. Senior Prep will be divided into two groups. The High Schoolers in Senior Prep will practice at HPER from 6:00-8:00 PM.  The eighth graders and below in Senior Prep will practice at the Jones Center from 4:30-6:00 PM.  There are no other changes to the schedule on this day.

Rodeo of the Ozarks - Christmas Parade

Tonight, December 1, 2025, there will be a road closure downtown for the Christmas Parade. The closure will be on Emma Ave from Reinert Dr to 71B as well as on Hwy 265 from Huntsville Ave to Ford Ave. Closure will begin at 5:30 PM and last until 7:00 PM or when the parade is finished. The parade starts at 6:00 PM.

Friday Night at the Races 26 / Distance Day - Registration Open

Friday Night at the Races 26 will be held Friday, December 12 at the Jones Center.  We would like all AquaHawgs to participate in this meet.  We would especially like to see our Rookie Hawgs and Junior Hawgs at this meet. Warm-ups will be at 4:30 PM. The meet will start at 5:30 PM.  We should wrap up around 7:30 PM.  The registration deadline is Friday, December 5.

 

Distance Day 2025 will be held Saturday, December 13 at the Jones Center.  This is an extremely fun event where we will also have a team breakfast with pancakes, sausage, and fruit.  This is a great time for all of our swimmers and we would like to see ALL groups and swimmers to participate.  The meet starts at 8:00 AM.  We plan on wrapping up around 11:00 AM.  The registration deadline is Wednesday, December 10.

Beaman Toyota Meet of Champions

We have a great group of swimmers joining us in Brentwood, TN for the Beaman Toyota Meet of Champions. We will be wearing white shirts on Friday, red shirts on Saturday, and black shirts on Sunday. There will be a shake out swim at the pool on Thursday 12/4 at 7:00 PM.  We have posted the Timeline and Psych Sheet to the meet page on our website.  We will send an email with more specific information later in the week.

Sickness and Illness

As we head into a season where bugs and viruses are more common, we ask that any swimmer who is feeling unwell does not attend practice until they are completely healthy. This helps protect not only your child but all of our swimmers, coaches, and families.

 

If your swimmer experiences symptoms like fever, cough, congestion, runny nose, or any flu-/cold-like illness, please keep them home until their symptoms have significantly improved and they have been free of fever (without fever-reducing medication) for at least 24 hours
