Aqualaps Corporate Sponsorship Drive Phase 2 begins this Sunday Phase 2: February 18 - March 9, 2024 Phase 1 (businesses with family and employment relationships) ends February 17 and Phase 2 began February 18. Phase 2 is your chance to contact Savona to see if the business you have previously reserved in past years is free to approach. This phase also opens up previously non-reserved businesses. Why is it important to help fundraise? Glacier Swim Club is an amazing year-round club that offers access to dedicated coaches with fun events for the swimmers along the way. To keep monthly fees reasonable to all families, GSC requires our help to raise money once a year. This annual fundraising event helps raise the critical funds necessary to support the club’s activities (pool rental, equipment purchases, team travel, and much more). Our goal is to raise $75,000! All swimmers should raise at least $350 during the Aqualaps fundraiser time...
Mark your calendars and sign your kids up for this fun mini meet! The Aqualaps Kick Off Party & Mini Time Trial will be held at DPAC on March 9th from 5 PM – 8 PM. For those of you new to the club, GSC has only one fundraising event of the year, and it is time to start gearing up for our Aqualaps Fundraiser now. All GSC families are required to complete 20 hours volunteering. If you don't know how to get your hours or want a job that is flexible and you can do on your own time...this is it! The weekly prize coordinator responsibilites include: contacting local businesses for donations, bag, label and deliver prizes to the pool and send out a thank you card to the businesses that support our club. It's really easy, but a crucial part of our Aqualaps incentives program for our swimmers. We use these donations as prizes...
Just when you thought you were done hearing from me until next year…I still have a few more announcements. If your swimmer raised $500 or more they are eligible for an incentive prize. The first $1000 in corporate sponsors can be used towards the total amount your swimmer fundraised. All prize requests must be submitted to Cheryl [email protected] by May 31.
