  • Central Area Swimming Champs - Short Course Yard Qualifiers - projected for the 1st weekend of December, 2024 .  Local age group championship meet, qualifying times needed, age groups (10&Under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18), Anchorage, AK
  • AK Senior Champs -  Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meter Qualifiers - January 24-26, 2025.  Alaska championship, qualifying times needed, no age groups (Open), qualifying in one event allows you to swim 6 events, Anchorage, AK
  • AK Age Group Champs - Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meter Qualifiers - February 14-16, 2025.  Alaska 14 and under championship, qualifying times needed, age groups (10&U, 11, 12, 13, 14), Ketchikan, AK
  • Northwest Spring Sectionals -  Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meter Qualifiers - TBA, March 2025
  • AK Swimming State Champs - Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meter Qualifiers - April 26-28, 2024.  Alaska's most prestigious championship, age groups (10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18)
  • AK Summer Champs  - Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meter Qualifiers - July 26-28, 2024 .  Typically contested in Long Course Meters, age groups (10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18).  Alaska's only summer championship, age groups (10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18)
  • ISCA Senior Blast - Short Course Yard Qualifiers | Long Course Meters - July 23-27, 2024 St Petersburg, FL.  Qualifying meet with up to 4 bonus events & 50's of each stroke.  These eligibility lists are using the 2023 standards.  A new list will be produced when new standards are published.

Definitions -

  • Short Course Yards (SCY) - a 25 yards pool.  This is the course we race for a majority of the year, from September 1st through April.  We are swimming SCY if there are 25 yards between the start and turn ends.
  • Long Course Meters (LCM) - a 50 meter pool.  We swim 2-5 LCM meets a year.  At Bartlett Pool, when we move the bulkheads down to the shallow end, it leaves 50m of water between the start and turn ends.
  • Short Course Meters (SCM) - a 25 meter pool.  We rarely swim SCM, perhaps 1-2 a year at most.  When there is 25m between the start and shallow ends.
