2022 Summer Program Registration Overview We are offering two summer programs for our current members and new swimmers this summer. Summer Camp Summer camp is for current competitive groups (LMR qualifiers: Elite, Senior, Age, Junior and Gold). The Camp focuses on refining the technique of 4 strokes, improving turns/starts and conditioning. The Camp starts on July 2 and ends on July 30. - May 23, Monday is Victoria's Day. No practice for all groups! - May 21, Saturday, Elite is attending a swim meet. Killaney pool Saturday 6:00-8:00am will be cancelled. Junior have practice at Renfrew from 6:45-8:15pm. - Refrew pool has annual maintenance from June 6 to July 3. It will impact Elite, Senior, Junior, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Alligator B, Gecko B, and Salamander A. The practice will be rescheduled. The alternated schedule will be sent out soon.

Dear Gators Family, Our Club would like to resurrect the fundraising initiative this season. For a start, we set up a Bottle Drive to raise a fund that will be allocated to alleviate our increasing pool rental costs. We would like to start with a modest $1000 as our target for this fundraising activity. Coaches that attended the meet: Anchie, Agatha, Bryan, Leo, Tommy and Victoria On April 17, Gators hosted our Development Meet at Templeton pool. There were 93 swimmers from Gators, Chena and West Vancouver Otter participated in this meet. This was the first swim meet for some young swimmers, and swimmers were excited and cheered for each other. We made over 50 best times and had three new LMR qualifiers. Excellent job, Gators! By Anchie Xu On March 10-13, 2022, Over 720 swimmers from 44 swim teams participated in the 2022 BC Winter Provincial Championships at Saanich Commonwealth Place, Victoria. We had 11 swimmers representing our club attend the meet. Some young swimmers had just qualified the provincial standards in the Divisional champs two weeks ago. By Kyle Cheng On March 12/13, Gators sent 34 swimmers to compete at the Delta Sungod LMR. This is the last meet before we go on our Spring Break. For some of our 12 and under swimmers, it was their first meet! It was a great experience for our younger athletes swimming with older athletes and long events.
