Volunteer Clearance Information
New guidelines.
Only Zookeepers will be required to have clearances.
Due to the new PA Child Protection Laws, BLCC is required to adhere to the following guidelines:
As of July 1st, 2015, all employees and volunteers are required to have the following:

FBI Criminal Background Check (if the individual has NOT been a resident of PA continuously for the past 10 years) or and a notarized Application for Volunteers (if you have lived in PA continuously for the past 10 years)

Please note the Application for Volunteers needs to be notarized. Your local bank should have a notary, however, Eugene Bonner, Attorney, at 610-565-8787, and 111 North Olive St, will notarize the form and will waive any notary fees. Please bring your photo ID.

Forms and instructions will be available at the pool front gate for all our wonderful volunteers.
For RTMSD parents who have the three clearances (PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Police Criminal Record Check Clearance, FBI Criminal Background Check) - Please provide the club with a copy of those clearances.
All Parents, please leave all 3 documents in a sealed envelope, attention Andy Ikler, at the BLCC gate, or mail to BLCC, PO Box 93, Media, PA 19063.
