Stingrays Compete at Rose Bowl

The Beach Cities Stingrays competed on a warm sunny day at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on September 22 against the Santa Monica Sharks and Rose Bowl Rays and did an AMAZING JOB!  This is the first swim meet for each of the Stingrays and they did an amazing job, all earning a trophy for their hard work in practice and at the competition.  Stingray swimmers that competed included Ben Noe, Aaron Mearns, Timmy Mitelberg, Henry Douchette, Brian MacDonald, and Griffin Ephriam.  Way to go Stingrays!  Beach Cities is so proud of you!

The Stingrays would like to give a special shout out to Sectional Swimmers Nikki Cooper and Lauren Nielsen for volunteering their Saturday afternoons to help with stroke technique, endurance and friendship!  Thanks Girls!

Another special thanks to the Junior Olympic swimmers that hand made signs to help cheer for the Stingrays!
