WOW! What a great start to the 2013 Short Course Season! Thank you to all the families that volunteered during the recent TSM meet and even bigger CONGRATULATIONS to the swimmers on an awesome meet. Beach Cities Coaches and Swim School Instructors volunteered their time during this summers swim session to work with the South Bay Special Needs Adult School. These amazing adults worked towards their recreation badges and made great progress in the pool. Congratulations to Beach Cities' own Matthew Cullen who was the youngest finisher in the recent Pier to Pier race finishing in the top 100 out of 300 wet suit participants with a time of 1:05.01. Matthew swam along side his dad, Brian Cullen, in his first open water race. High five to all Beach Cities swimmers and parents that participated in this years race!
