Senior Development Group
Senior Development group is for the advanced competitive swimmer.
Senior Development Group Coach: Coach Scott
Ages: 11 and older or at the coaches' discretion
Practice Duration:
M/W/F 1 hour 5:00-6:00 pm (dry land)
M-F 2 hours 6:00-8:00 pm
Sat 2 hours 8:00-10:00 am
Group Criteria:
- Must have achieved a JAG, WAG, or JO time in one event.
- Must have attended six swim meets a season in the past swim year (there are two seasons a swim year).
- Must have attended 80% of Age Group II group practices.
- Top 4-5 fastest in your age group in the Rapids.
Group Needs:
- Dry land attire (shoes, shirt, shorts, etc.).
- Swim suit, towel, goggles, cap (for those with long hair), fins, pull buoy, paddles, and kickboard (ask Coach Scott for one).
- Water bottle at every practice.
Group Requirements:
- Attend 80% of practices a week.
- Attend seven swim meets a season (there are two seasons a swim year).
- Must attend all championship meets (JAG, WAG, JO, etc.) and swim in team relays.
Group Goals:
- Attend eight swim meets a season (there are two seasons a swim year).
- Achieve Senior Development times in one event.
