Senior Group

Senior group is for the Senior level competitive swimmer.

Senior Group Coach: Coach Scott

Ages: 13 and older or at the coaches' discretion

Practice Duration:  

M/W/F            1 hour             5:00-6:00 pm (dry land)

M-F                 2 hours          6:00-8:00 pm

Sat                  2 hours          8:00-10:00 am 

Group Criteria:

  • Must have achieved a Senior Development meet time in one event.
  • Must have attended six swim meets a season in the past swim year (there are two seasons a swim year).
  • Must have attended 80% of Senior Development group practices.
  • Top 4-5 fastest in your age group on the Rapids.

Group Needs:

  • Dry land attire (shoes, shirt, shorts, etc.).
  • Swim suit, towel, goggles, cap (for those with long hair), fins, pull buoy, paddles, and kickboard (ask Coach Scott for one).
  • Water bottle at every practice.

Group Requirements:

  • Attend 90% of practices a week.
  • Should attend 1 morning practice a week (if available).
  • Attend seven swim meets a season (there are two seasons a swim year).
  • Must attend coach specified championship and all Senior meets (JO, Kevin Perry, Sectionals, etc.) and swim in team relays.

Group Goals:

  • Attend eight swim meets a season (there are two seasons a swim year).
  • Qualify for Sectionals and faster.
