Where to Buy Gear

We recommend purchasing your swim gear from Swim 2000, our local swim shop located at:

Coaches highly recommend this location for convenience and selection.

Required Training Equipment

Please speak with your swimmer’s coach to confirm what equipment is needed for their specific group. Not all groups require every item listed.

Commonly Required Gear:

  • Pull Buoy

  • Kickboard

  • Short Blade Fins

  • Paddles

  • Snorkel

Note: While some loaner equipment may be available, sizes and availability are not guaranteed. We strongly encourage swimmers to own their own gear to ensure full participation in practice.

Required Swimwear & Accessories

Practice Suit:
Any suit suitable for training. Branded suits are not required — ask your coach for group-specific guidance.

Competition Suit:
Must be either a Life Time–branded team suit or a solid black suit. Coaches will provide suit guidelines based on age and group.

Goggles:
Swimmers must have a well-fitting pair.

  • Recommended: Mirrored goggles for outdoor swimming

  • Approved models: Vanquisher 2.0, Swedish goggles, or similar

Swim Cap:

  • Practice: Any cap is acceptable

  • Competition: Must wear a Life Time–branded cap

  • Some groups may require caps during practice at the coach’s discretion

Optional Team Apparel

Available for purchase through Swim 2000 and encouraged for team spirit and travel meets:

  • Team Warm-Up Jacket

  • Team Warm-Up Pants or Shorts

  • Team Parka

  • Team T-Shirt (Designs and sizes vary by availability — check with your coach for current options)
