HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM

 

Open to swimmers ages 5–18

Follow these steps to get started with our year-round competitive swim program:

Step 1: Become a Life Time Member
All swimmers must be active Life Time members to participate on the team.
If you're not already a member, click here to view membership options and benefits.

Step 2: Schedule a Tryout
Tryouts are required for all new swimmers so we can place them in the right training group.
To schedule, contact the location closest to you:

Swimmers must bring a swimsuit and goggles and be ready to swim.
Tryouts typically take 15–20 minutes and are conducted by one of our certified coaches.

Step 3: Swim Team Assessment
During the tryout, a coach will evaluate your swimmer's technique, endurance, and overall ability in the water.
Based on their performance, they’ll be placed in the most suitable training group for their age and skill level.

Our training groups range from beginner pre-team levels to advanced competitive groups.

Step 4: Register for the Swim Team
Once your swimmer is placed in a group, you’ll receive registration instructions.

  • Registration is first come, first served.

  • Monthly fees and practice schedules depend on the group your swimmer is placed in.

  • You’ll receive all group-specific details, including practice times and meet expectations.

Step 5: Register with USA Swimming (Required for Bronze and Above)
Swimmers placed in Bronze or higher are required to register with USA Swimming, the governing body for competitive swimming in the U.S.

  • Annual fee: $64.00

  • This registration is mandatory to compete in USA Swimming–sanctioned meets.
