Sayaka has been an athlete with LifeTime Nevada since 2010. She graduated High School in Las Vegas in 2021 and is currently attending UNLV. Sayaka works with our Gold Group at Life Time Summerlin.

Kari has been a competitive swimmer off and on since the age of 8. She worked in Information Technology for over 30 years and is a former swim instructor and gymnastics coach. She has been a US Masters Swimmer since 2003 competing in many US Masters Swimming events and USMS national championships.

Celeste has been coaching the team since March 2016. She started out as the coach for Developmental, but has since moved up to coaching our Bronze Group. 

I was born and raised in Albuquerque where water was my life. I competed in swimming, water polo and became a swim instructor for the Red Cross. I moved to Carlsbad, CA where I didn't have an opportunity to compete, but I was given an opportunity to coach swimming, diving and water polo. I had the opportunity to coach and lifeguard while attending college, and I was offered a job at the Army and Navy Academy as an instructor and coach. I coached swimming and diving for 30 years, water polo for 40 years competing in the CIF-SDS, one of the toughest conferences in Southern Calif. During the summers, I was an Aquatics Director overseeing the beach and the pool for 40 years. I worked at Lifetime Fitness for nine years in Alabama coaching the DEV team, Master's Swim program, and training/supervising lifeguards.. I  am in my tenth year with Lifetime doing similar duties.. I was the Role Model Coach for the CIF-SDS for the state of CA in 2005.
