TSC swimmers Blake Worsley (pictured)(200 free) and Zack Chetrat (200 fly) each won their events and were named to Canada’s World Championship Team to compete this summer in Barcelona Spain.
Edward Liu took the silver medal in the 100 fly and stands to be named to Canada’s World Student Games team competing in Moscow Russia. Edward also is now on Team Ontario for this summer’s Canada Games team.
Warren Barnes won the silver medal in the 50 breast and bronze in the 100 breast.
Mike Smerek won the silver medal in the 50 fly.
Paige Schultz swam to huge drops in her best times in both the 100 and 200 freestyle events placing 5th in each.
Frank Despond was 6th in the 400 freestyle final and Matt Myers was also 6th in the extremely close 200 backstroke final.
The Men’s 4×100 freestyle relay team of Oliver Straszynski, Blake Worsley, Edward Liu and Matt Myers won the bronze medal.
