TSC wins 2014 Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships!
On Wednesday, February 12, 35 swimmers from the National, Gold 1, Gold 2, Coaches Bill O’ Toole and Dave Ling boarded the bus to compete in the 2014 Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships in Windsor. Special thanks to our chaperones Rhonda Cohen, Kim Walcott Kelly and our very special bus drive Tim Bird for your help with this meet. Competition ran from Thursday, February 13- Sunday, February 16 at the Family Aquatic Complex.
TSC swimmers dominated the pool, with many personal best times and swimmers making their first Eastern final (top 20).
TSC won the overall team award and the women's team banner! Way to go!
Honourable mention also goes to TSC's newest Senior National qualifiers 15 year old William Morley who made his first cut in the 800 Free and 17 year old Philip Vranic who took off over 3 seconds in his 200 Free. William Morley was also named the 16&Under Male swimmer of the meet based on his Fina Points in the 800 Free. Additionally there were a number of new Provincial and Age National qualifiers!
