2024 Olympic & Paralymic Swimming Trials

Congratulations to the 25 TSC swimmers who qualified and gave it their all at the 2024 Olympic & Paralymic Swimming Trials. Competition took place from May 13-19 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
A huge shout out to the parents, coaches and support staff that helped our athletes throughout this meet. It takes a village!
Thank you to all of the officials and youth volunteers that made this event a huge success and to all of the TSC families that came out to support and cheer on our athletes.
It was a week of many emotions on the pool deck – as the top athletes from all over the country came to give it their best efforts! For many of our young athletes, it was their first time ever competing in an Olympic Trials.
This competition served as the selection Trials for the 2024 Olympic Games, 2024 Paralympic Games and the 2024 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.
To be nominated for the Olympic Team in an individual event, swimmers were required to achieve the Olympic Qualifying Time in that event and finish in the top two of the A-Final. Canada has also qualified entries in all seven relay events, so several athletes were also selected for the relay squads.
Congratulations to Penny Oleksiak, Kylie Masse, Sydney Pickrem and Coach Linda Kiefer for being named to the 2024 Canadian Olympic Team. We can’t wait to cheer on Team Canada in Paris!
Congratulations to 15 year old Leah Tigert (National Group) for being nominated for the 2024 Junior Pan Pacific Championships. Competition is set to take place this August in Australia.
