2025 Canadian Swimming Trials

Congratulations to the 21 athletes that proudly represented Toronto Swim Club at the 2025 Canadian Swimming Trials.

This six-day competition took place from June 7-12 at the Saanich Commonwealth Place in Victoria. It was a fantastic experience for all swimmers. Including being able to witness 3 new world records set by Summer MacIntosh.

Thank you to our wonderful coaches and support staff: Bill, Jane, Byron, Linda, Doug, Olga, Daniel and Amber for being there for our athletes every step of the way!

Two teams were announced based on performances at the meet:

National Development Team

Congratulations to Leah Tigert, Maya Bezanson, Julia Ebli and our Head Coach and Director Bill O’Toole who been named to the World Aquatic Junior Championships team. Competition will take place August 19-24 in Otopeni, Romania.

World Championships Team

Congratulations to Penny Oleksiak, Kylie Masse and Filip Senc-Samardzic and Linda Kiefer (UT Varsity Coach) who have been named to the World Aquatic Championships team. Competition will take place July 26-August 3 in Singapore.

Our swimmers will be wearing the Canadian flag proud this summer! We can’t wait to cheer you all on!
